What we've learnt working in Warsop
Parts of Warsop sit on made ground from the pit years, and what's under the topsoil isn't always what you'd expect — ash, clinker, old hardcore, occasionally a buried slab. It matters, because a sub-base is only as good as what it's sitting on.
So on Warsop jobs we dig a trial hole at the quote stage wherever there's any doubt. It takes twenty minutes and it's the difference between a fixed price that holds and one that grows on day two.
Streets and areas we've worked on
Recent work off Sherwood Street, Carr Lane, Church Street, Wood Lane, Eastlands Lane and the estates around Meden Vale.
If one of our jobs is near you, ask and we'll usually point you at it — or put you in touch with the customer.
