The cheapest good decision on this page
A tired-looking drive isn't always a failed drive. Where the blocks are intact, the edges are still held and the levels haven't dropped, what you're usually looking at is lost jointing sand, algae and a decade of traffic film. Cleaned, re-sanded and sealed, the same drive comes back looking close to new for roughly a tenth of a replacement.
We'll tell you straight which one you need. If we can see settlement, spreading edges or standing water, sealing it only hides the symptom — and we'd rather quote you for the right job once than take money for the wrong one twice.
- Rotary flat-surface cleaner, not a lance zig-zagged across the blocks
- Weeds and moss killed off, oil spots treated before sealing
- Fresh kiln-dried sand vibrated into every joint
- Sealer applied in two coats, joint-stabilising or natural finish
- Honest assessment first — we'll say if it needs relaying instead
